IPFS upload
Pin images and token metadata to IPFS through the server's Pinata credentials, and get permanent gateway URLs to paste into the token creators.
How to use
- Upload an image and get its URL
- Optionally fill in name, symbol and description to pin a metadata JSON
- Copy the metadata URL into a token creator
FAQ
- Why IPFS?
- A token's logo and details must stay reachable for years. Self-hosting dies with the server; IPFS is content-addressed and pinned, so the URL always resolves to the same bytes.
- What is in the metadata JSON?
- name, symbol, description, image and optional website and social links — compatible with Metaplex (Solana) and the usual ERC721/ERC20 metadata conventions.
- It says uploads are off
- An admin needs to set PINATA_JWT on the server. Without it you can still paste a ready-made metadata URI into the token creators.
