- Is it safe?
- It uses the browser's cryptographic RNG with rejection sampling to avoid modulo bias, and never leaves the page.
- How much entropy do I need?
- Entropy = length × log2(alphabet). Over 80 bits suits ordinary accounts; over 128 bits suits passphrases guarding long-lived keys.
- Why are look-alikes off by default?
- i l 1 L o 0 O are excluded so passwords survive being read aloud or copied by hand. Tick the box if you want maximum strength.
